The Last Ukrainian Viking | Illustration

This illustration is to commemorate my father-in-law that passed away in 2018. He was an eccentric individual with a theory that he came from Vikings, and yet he was very passionately a Ukrainian. The nickname The Last Ukrainian Viking stuck. I first made an illustration of him for his 70th birthday (handlebar moustache and all) and then this Christmas I tweaked it with the new monoline style. This sign is to hang at the cabin where he loved to spend his summers. I had the original illustration laser engraved into maple.
